i still have my stock exhaust for my super six, aside from the cherry bomb i put on. im wondering how much improvment i could get wit 2.25 or even 2.5" exhaust. this is my DD and i have low funds, hence not doing headers or dualys. or should i just wait until i do headers? |

Going to 2 1/4 exhaust on mine helped pretty good, I am sure that the header with it could do more though. I wish I had went with 2 1/2 but I am not sure it would of help even more, but what I noticed is that most of these muffler shops crimp the pipe a lot so I figured the 2 1/2 would be better. If you plan to go with a header latter I believe I would just go ahead and do the 2 1/2, with the super six setup (two barrel carb) it should like it pretty good. I am still running the one barrel setup and gained quit abit of power and fuel milage when I did the exhaust. Jess |
