HEY ALL THE BLACK SHEEP HERE AGAIN i have been looking at a new cam for my little baa .. i am looking in to duel pattern cams .. at present i am running 25/65(425" lift ) single pattern cam .. so whats the advantage of a duel pattern cam ??? and is it worth the effort to change over ??? yours wooly the black sheep |

On most 225s, the intake has less flow than you would like relative to the exhaust, so a split pattern with 4-6 deg more duration on the INTAKE has worked well for many people. If you like it lumpy, I would suggest something like a 236I/230E @ 0.050 with about 0.480" lift. You can go bigger too, but will require better valve springs and tuning. Lou |

hey thanks for the reply i was thinking about CHRYSLERs cam pn4286681 cam 276~ duration with 49o"lift ...then i would have a true set of spces due to the fact the cam in my motor has a cam card the a 3 y year old has made .. it reads like intake 25 open 65 close .. same for exhast .. so it`s going to be fun oh the spring in the motor now are ozzie hemi 6 so the seat pressue is 95lb and 300 @425 lift your liking it lumpy the black sheep |
