I am going today to a pick-n-pull. mostly to get the brakes system and rear end out of a 75 valiant, for my 65 valiant. it has a slant 6 in it. I have read that the block in not the best one, but is the head a better one then the 65? and is there any thing else worth getting? it is not a super 6.

If still original the 1975 block will be a forged crank unit, like your 65 (but the crank pocket will be larger, so if used in your car it'd need a spacer for the torque convertor, or a 1968+ flywheel if swapping...or your crank, during a rebuild...)

The head if original will have the tapered seat plugs, with no drool tubes...but with a better combustion chamber...


If the car has disc brakes the front suspension and brakes are worth the money (but if you put them in your car, you'll have to swap your wheels up to large bolt pattern....)

yes it has the disc brake set up. that is what i am going for most. if anybody needs something from it let me know. it has really nice green interior.
