HEY ALL

THE BLACK SHEEP HERE AGAIN

i have been looking at a new cam for my little baa .. i am looking in to duel pattern cams .. at present i am running 25/65(425" lift ) single pattern cam .. so whats the advantage of a duel pattern cam ??? and is it worth the effort to change over ???

On most 225s, the intake has less flow than you would like relative to the exhaust, so a split pattern with 4-6 deg more duration on the INTAKE has worked well for many people.

If you like it lumpy, I would suggest something like a 236I/230E @ 0.050 with about 0.480" lift. You can go bigger too, but will require better valve springs and tuning.

hey thanks for the reply

i was thinking about CHRYSLERs cam pn4286681 cam 276~ duration with 49o"lift ...then i would have a true set of spces due to the fact the cam in my motor has a cam card the a 3 y year old has made .. it reads like intake 25 open 65 close .. same for exhast ..

so it`s going to be fun oh the spring in the motor now are ozzie hemi 6 so the seat pressue is 95lb and 300 @425 lift
