Hi,
I was able to find an oem trunk light kit with switch and want to install it in the trunk of my '72 Valiant. Where is the light supposed to be mounted. I wanted to ask and see if someone can post a picture before I arbitrarily pick a point and mount it. I would like to place it in the stock location if possible. Thanks, Nico

Mine is mounted on the left truck lip about 6 inches from the front edge. (front being front of car).

Thanks, that reminded me that I have an old mercury switched light for trunks witting in a drawer (even know where it is) that I've never installed............

(just need a power source)
