Ran my 1966 Cuda, with a 170 and nitrous last weekend. I feel I need a colder plug, but am having trouble finding one. Present plug is NGK B7ES. If anyone has experence with nitrous and a slant, could you please recommend a plug. Thanks
P.S. Ran a 8.698 at 78.21 and a 8.663 at 78.24 for the 1/8 mile, car weight 3060 with driver.

Check with Jap dirt bike shops. In the '70s we ran 125/100 Hodaka's with these plugs and could get all the heat ranges. I think the higher the number the colder the plug, opposite Champion.

I run my slant on alochol and I started with the same plug B7ES I now use a colder plug which is a B9ES. With the 7's I melted the end right off and with the 9's no problem. This is a race plug only, no crusing around the shopping mall. NGK makes this style of plug to a B11ES which is really cold. I have a good sourse on these plugs $1.30 each so I change them after a race or two.
