Are there any other disadvantages besides the difficulty of finding a set of 198 rods and a little more cost?

As far as advantages some have mentioned:
lighter pistons
better rod/stroke ratio (better rod angle)
ability to get a small amount of quench???
this combo has better detonation resistance??? (would allow slightly higher compression or lower octane to be used)

Please feel free to elaborate. Thanks

2.2 turbo pistons are cheap and easy to fry with nitrous. :D :D

(Or a turbo or blower, or just a bad tune-up.)
