I've just bought a '62 Dart [the really ugly one!] with a slant six. What set up would you guys advise [and where do I get the parts] for some fairly mild tuning.I was looking for loads of torque, as I will be towing with it. As I live in Great Britain, advise is a little hard to come by, so any help would be appreciated

Welcome!

'62 Dart - that's still the big Dart, isn't it? Cool!

Do a search on this site, and read the ARTICLES on "Super Six" and "Dutra Duals". Electronic ignition is a good idea for several reasons.

Dig in and have fun!

Just start reading here and don;t stop. Ask questions when they come up, and you too will one day be a font of slant knowledge. Welcome.

If this one had a slant, it would be really cool.

I suppose ugly is in the eye of the beholder, but I always kind of liked the early Dart. As the pictures in the previously linked article show, they can be quite eye-catching when done right. Good luck on the project!
