I'm seriously thinking of installing larger valves in my /6 head. The guides are wasted on my replacement head, so I figure i'll be half way there, but I'm not sure what to do about retainers and locks. If I go with the 11/32 stems do I just need larger retainers and use the 11/32 locks? is there any special lock that will take the extra space in the 3/8 retainer? Has anyone used the "special" 30 degree valve angle, is it worth the extra time on the valve grinder? Fourgasman@aol.com |

I have just used springs, locks, and retainers that go with the valves I am using, and have the spring seats machined to fit. Lou |

I'm actually trying to avoid as much money going to the machine shop as posible, other options would be apreciated. Fourgasman@aol.com |
