I like NGK spark plugs a lot. The '75-up cars take a different type of spark plug than the '74 and earlier cars. Stock plug for your '75 is a # UR4. You can try going a step colder with today's cleaner-burning gasoline, to gain some ping-resistance (UR5). If you want to spend money on ultrapremium spark plugs that'll last a very long time and allow the use of a wider plug gap for better idling and driveability, it'll be a UR4IX or UR5IX. I'd recommend buying the regular plugs for now, until you figure out which heat range works best for your setup.

I run UR4's in my 1978 head and they are very, very nice! They are the best plugs I have ever used. :D

I'm using UR4 in my stock 1979 D-100 225 and they're working well.

Ive read on other posts about the ngk plugs but it was on a '74, will the plug wires mentioned for a '74 work on a '75?
