I have got a 1970 Dodge Dart (Swinger) in fairly nice shape. It has the slant six. I plan on restoring the car and want to retain the 6 cyl. I would like to add power steering and air conditioning. Anyone have any experience along these lines and could give me a few words of wisdom? intec@genext.net |

To put in P/S, you will need the gearbox and pitman arm, the pump, brackets and pulleys, and the proper length steering column and pot coupler. It should be pretty easy to find a donor car with P/S in it. Dennis aschumers@aol.com |

Yes, depending on what year box you get. There are two differnt sizes of shaft in the gearboxes,(Ithink the later manual boxes had the same shaft as the power boxes) and '73 and up the arm is completely different. The stud in the arm points up instead of down. (or vice-versa) aschumers@aol.com |
