A few prototypes exist, and several different aluminum head projects have been discussed, but that's it. |

How many pages can we get this one up to! Okay, since the question has mostly been answered, I pose a question to you all. Would you prefer a standard slant aluminum head (similar to the prototypes) or would you rather have a hemi head similar to the one undergoing production by hemisix? What say you! |

If an after market SL6 head is ever produced in any real volume, (more then 1 or 2) then the head would have to be a 'bolt-on' and it would need to support the use SL6 parts like the manifolds, valve cover, rocker arms etc. It would be great to have a cross flow, hemi head but doing that would increase the number of custom parts needed and doing that would dirve unrealistic costs. The only good plan for a cross flow head would be to use some other car's intake and/or exhaust set, hopefully something that was pretty common and would have some after market stuff made for it. (BMW or ??) DD |
