Normal headlamps on the dart, I'm using H-4 type lamps with true xenon's and ballasts on the b'cuda.

Beautiful rides! Is the Cuda actually getting a Hemi or just the trademark scoop and an RB?

How did you get the window glass to be so clear ?

Actually a killer LA stroker that can keep up with the big boys, and have some decent street manners for starters.

I may convert to a RB down the road.

Right...hence my comment; there are several large problems with those. Even if you were using the H4 halogen bulbs those lamps were designed for, these clear-lens tripod "diamond cut" lamps you've got are unfortunately all coming out of the third world. There's no optical engineering in them at all; they don't produce a beam pattern even minimally safe for speeds over about 30 mph, and they put out dangerous levels of glare.

The situation is made much, much worse — dangerous, really — when a so-called "HID kit" or "Xenon kit" is put into lamps (any lamps, even good ones) intended to take a halogen bulb; see here.

Unfortunately, these kinds of whizzbang headlite-shaped toys sell really well, because the untrained human eye has a hard time distinguishing between a good/safe beam pattern and a bad/dangerous one. :-( It's not a question of just spraying out as much light as you can; much more important than the total amount of light is how the light is distributed within the beam.

What about the people in the oncoming lane? Did they like the lights? Crossover accidents kill a lot of people.
