I finally had an opportunity to stretch the Volare's legs today. To refresh your memory, it's a 1980 four door with a Super Six. I put the gas pedal to the floor and kept it there until I ran out of speedometer markings at 160 km/h (100 mph). That's where common sense kicked in. ;-)

I Love It . . .
Just don't get much chance to do the "peddle to the metal" deal where I'm located. (Silicon Valley, CA)

The Drag Strip works but it's over too fast, sounds like you had a chance to sit there and let the ol' SL6 "Sing it's one note song" for a while . . . life is good.

I only have 85 mph on my speedo, have seen aspen/volares with 120 speedos. I would love to have one.
