I need to replace the seat belts in my Duster. Does anyone know how to remove the rear seat of a 1970 Duster. I'm about to use my demolition saw but if there is an easier way I'd appreciate advice. Thanks.

Standard rear seat...
Push down and toward the back on the lower half, then pull up and hope the seat 'hooks' came loose from the floor pan catches... lower part pulls right out (look for assembly sheet in seat springs)...
Part two: upper part can be held in a couple of ways depending on year:
Metal tabs through seat hooks on each side, unbend, pull seat
Screws in bracing on the trunk side, then push up and unhook
Held by lower seat, push seat up and off the 'hooks'

'Space' Duster
Lower seat same as above
Fold down part, needs a stubby phillips screwdriver to remove the hinge covers, then a 7/16 or 1/2" socket to remove the hinges, and seat (haven't done this in 8 years...)

Good luck,
