I am trying to get a rebuild kit for this carb but am having some trouble telling what model it is since it is not the original engine or carb from the car which is a 75 scamp here are some pictures.

Yup, it is a Holley 1945 with a throttle kicker solenoid. Ordering a carburetor kit for a 1975 Valiant will get you the right kit. Try for a Walker-brand kit.

The 1945 was used on all 1974-up slant-6s except some 1974 trucks (w/last year of Carter BBS), the Super-6 models (w/Carter BBD) and the '80s models with feedback carburetion, which used a feedback version of the 1945 called the 6145.

Some people swap from a 1945 to a 1920...some don't. See this thread.
