kinda looks like a carter bbd and a holley 1920 that had a kid. more so a bbd... it doesnt have any numbers or anything on it? |

Yup, it is a Holley 1945 with a throttle kicker solenoid. Ordering a carburetor kit for a 1975 Valiant will get you the right kit. Try for a Walker-brand kit. |

so thats what they look like... sigh im lame i know. what years and applications did they use this carb, a lot of people have been swappin over to the 1920 over this. |

The 1945 was used on all 1974-up slant-6s except some 1974 trucks (w/last year of Carter BBS), the Super-6 models (w/Carter BBD) and the '80s models with feedback carburetion, which used a feedback version of the 1945 called the 6145.Some people swap from a 1945 to a 1920...some don't.
