I'm looking to build-up my slant six in my 86 D100, and I need a tranny, what kind of trannys could I run. I'm aiming for the 200-300 hp zone |

A904 with V8 guts is a good choice at this power level and has less parasitic drag than a 727. For manuals I would use an A833 without overdrive since that power level with a 225 makes close gears highly desirable. Those are the easy choices. |
