When will the latest issue of SSRN be posted on this site? |

Hey Norm, I just got a letter from Seymour saying it would probably take several weeks before SSRN is put on here after each issue is sent out. I'm not very computer savvy, but apparently the way the last two have been scanned in in PDF format take a really long time to download for folks with slower internet connections. I guess the text has to be re-typed and uploaded separately or something to make it download faster (?) Long story short,... Not for awhile. |

Lou I guess I did not understand about sending money to Seymore for the new subscriptions. I will wait on the internet on this issue and order the mail copy later |

I got mine in the mail here in Germany a few days ago and others have received theirs. Seymour mentioned in the last issue of SSRN that pretty much everyone's mail-in subscriptions had or were about to expire. He is still willing to send out mail copies if you renew your subscription. As a side note, Seymour sounded burned out in his letter. He mentioned that he would have stopped publishing SSRN after the Anniversary issue if it weren't for the efforts of Wayne Erickson and others on the West coast this last year. He said he was going to see how this year goes and make a decision if he keeps SSRN going or not. I certainly want to see SSRN continue the way it is, if possible! Anyone reading this: A quick note of encouragement/gratitude or a phone call - Especially mentioning your own enthusiasm to get involved in Slant 6 Racing - would probably go a long way to encourage Seymour right now. Issue #49 had some good write ups on Meril Bruner's Ram 50, Junk Yard Dog and a couple others building cool race cars. You could be the next SSRN National Celebrity if you send Seymour a story with pictures! |

Woohoo! Will go read... I agree that Seymour needs some help, or someone to take this over. I really wish I could, but I simply don't have the time. I can write a few articles a year, though. Lou |
