Post subject:  Help a Spanish owner with a cluth kit
Hi everybody.

Im the owner of a 74' Dodge 3700 GT (Spanish market version based on a 4 door Dart, I think)

I'm rebuilding the engine (225 Slant Six) and hope 240 H.P. aprox. My clutch goes quite bad with standard engine power (165 H.P.) so I must find a clutch kit. My clutch is a Borg & Beck 1577 model, 9.25" diameter and 1.25" thickness. The transmission is a manual 4 speed A-833.

I'm becoming crazy looking for a nice clutch kit but cannot find an appropiate one.
What clutch kit sould suit in my car and where can I buy it?

su vehículo no está basado en el dart, es una creación argentina que se comercializó desde '68 en Argentina y luego por un programa de intercambio entre Febre y Barreiros, en España.

Referente a su problema, existen placas borg and beck que tienen 10" de diámetro para abulonar en el volante de motor de 122 dientes (el que equipa nuestros automoviles) Hay mopar é incluso SACH. Le brindarán el poder de ´prensión exra que busca sin destruir el trambalador de embrague con presión extra como las placas de diafragma, y sin perder el comfort de acción en el pedal. Los mismos se conocen como HD slant six clutch assmbly (HD por Heavy Duty o servicio pesado) El círculo de abulonamiento debe ser en 10 5/8 ".
