FX-1 Timing computer (G-Tech) is showing on the last run a few days ago a 14.50 at 91.9MPH and a 1.98 60'. I had a little stumble on the line, running the full exhaust (not uncapped), and could have shifted/split shifted a little better.

The log showed a little on the rich side (12.3). Do you think leaving the AFR set at this level would lean out a bit with the exhaust uncapped?

I wish the track was open today. The air is perfect. I guess I'll bring the power inverter to run the laptop (bad battery) so I can check the logs between runs.

I wouldn't think uncapping would raise AF too much given your exh design, but anything is possible. You should be safe (insert disclaimer  ). Good news on the Gtech run and let's see some whompin' timeslips...

If you're worried about detonation, just retard timing 2-3 deg on the uncapped run and check AF, then advance again if safe.
