hi, i just installed a rebuilt holley carb on my 73 valiant, and unfortunately the float bowl continues to leak, which is why i got it rebuilt to begin with. although i wonder if the rebuilder actually changed the float and needle, i should also look at a good quality fuel filter replacement. any suggestions?

thanks cshunley

cshunley,

Maybe your float is a little high. Is it leaking out the overflow vent on the top after you shut it off and it heat soaks?

Send me your email and I will send you a picture of my setup and filter using SL6Dan's mod. I am using the big stainless filter Summit Racing sells.
I also have a Perma Cool fuel water separator that they carry, but is not installed yet... need a few days of good weather this weekend. :D

Terry,

Just sent you some pictures of the setup as of about 4 weeks ago when it wasn't snowing.
