I suspect that the answer will be "no", but thought I'd ask anyhow. Were/are ANY of the slant replacement main bearings for these HD applications ever full-grooved (out-of-the-box), or are they the same as the car/truck bearings? Thanks.

Same, though 225-2 and 225-3 truck engines got upgraded bimetal bearings (currently you can get tri-metal ones that are even better). None were factory fully grooved; if you want that it's DIY.
