First of all i want to introduce myself, i am Gert and i live in Europe, Belgium near Antwerp.
I own a '69 Plymouth Valiant signet 225 SL6 the car runs great but after a while there is enormous pressure on the water in the radiator. I know the word in dutch but not in englisch.
It could be the sealing between the block, i can't find a manual to dismantle the engine of my car. could someone help me? I send you pics on requist. Just mail to ;
lelie_gert@hotmail.com. Regards Thx. :wink:

yes, it does kind of sound like your head gasket may have a leak and is pressurizing the cooling system...

hopefully someone here will have a few pics for you or links

I would think ANY 225 slant 6 manual would be ok for changing the head gasket. Might you find help from another Mopar person in Belgium. Any of the Manuals Ive seen had slant 225 in them.

Have you tried re-tightening the cylinder head bolts?
