Post subject:  Eletric Dizzy Part Numbers

HEY guys and girls .. and other mopar lovers

i just got another ele dizzy .. rare as in austraila its part number is 3690788 it`s got a pressed steel hold down clamp with a cross bolt in it clamping it around the shaft .. the othe numbers on the little tag are 42 9 with a upside down 6 spamped near the screw hole .. cast in to the dizzy case is a raised number 4 ,,,, i would dearly love to know what it`s out of ...

another austrailan .. wow great picture .. but mine is eletric ignition and does not have a vac can on it as yet .. the one on there was no good .. it got a clamp o it kinda like a bosch style austraillan dizzy the pinches on to the body of the dizzy ... if you want you can e mail me at tool318@yahoo.com ..

that distributor is for electronic ignition and is the one now in my slant.
imported from US by one of the vendors on Mopar Market.com.
teamed with a Bosch BIM 024 module to switch it all it is a great set-up.

if you are looking for replacement vac cans,you have a company right on your back door at Caboolture that does a really good change over service.

HEY WOLPA

thanks heaps i`ve got a few early slant ones the need fixing i was going to learn about doing it my slef but these guy are so close and sound good... i was trying to find out what sort of advance curve the dizzy has in it at the moment i an unnign a dizzy out of a 1974 4 speed duster .. no bad but i think the adance is a little to stiff .. what sort of base timming are you set at now i find i can nly runn at about 5-7` before i get pinging ..
