Over the weekend I was at the drags and my best time was 15.20 @ 90mph. That is 2 mph faster then before but a tenth slower. That tenth was in my 60ft time only 2.17 to a 2.06 last time. I had problems at the starting line, I was torquing it up to what I had before and that would not get it to pull boost on the line. So I had to all but start to spinn the tires on the line to spool up the turbo then i got the 2.17. I put a 600 dp holley on and I don't think that the stock fuel pump is keeping up. The car would fall on it's face about 100 too 150 feet before the finish line. The only way I got it to pull in third was back off to about half throtle once I shifted to third. Even with all of this was going on I did make it to the 3rd round with rt's of .517, .518,and a big fat red light with a .497 the third round. Tonight I cut off the choke tower lowered the sec. jets to 80s and increased the pim. to 76s. I also ordered the holley 110 gph electric fuel pump, 3/8 fuel line to feed the mech. pump. If that does not work I am going with the mallory reg. The good thing is that I have all winter to tune it for that 14 sec. run that I want!!!! andrew wagner |

Andrew, Keep up the posts. I used to run a turbo slant and am very interested in your progress. Hope to get mine back together over the winter. Charlie Quote:
