Are you talking about the choke unloader? (The little vacuuum can that moderates how the choke plate pulls oen?) I think Niehoff FS1034, or GP sorenson 779180 is another. Remember the Holley 2280 is for the 1978+ 318 equipped vehicle (meant as a replacement for the BBD, but never offered stock on a super six)... This carburator/parts can be found by selecting a 1978 Dodge Aspen w/318 at your auto parts store for lookup or you can use tag number R-7990A as another reference point... good luck, -D.Idiot |

The Holley 2280 isn't original to that car so the Carter vacuum diagram is the only one you're going to find. As the 2280 was meant to replace the BBD I would expect (hope?) the connections to be in similar locations. |

The vacuum advance will connect to the "To Ported for System" nipple shown in this view. http://www.slantsix.org/articles/choke- ... 0-info.jpg For the bowl vent, leave it open, it is a good idea to put a filter on it to keep any dust out. DD |
