Just wondering if anyone has cut a head .100 and cc'd it. I haven't measured mine yet, but was curious what kind of numbers people had gotten. Also, is there much difference in combustion chamber size for different years?
Thanks, Tom

I haven't done 0.100", but based on other heads I've done, I'd say the cc's should work out around 41-44.

It depends on the type of valve and how deep they are seated in the head. I think mine is 56 cc. I can look it up if it is that inportant.

All the SL6 heads are about the same chamber size which is called-out at 54 CCs, In "real life" they run a bit more then that. (55 to as much as 60) I feel that a lot of the difference is based on the type of valve used. (dished vs flat face and how deep the seat is)
The last SL6 head I milled .100 and put large "flat faced" O/S valves into, ended-up at 39 CCs.
( I kept the valves up high in the chamber for the best flow )
