Building up a 225 using a Hughes solid lifter cam (107 Centerline, 441 Lift, and 224 Duration @.050 tappet Lift). Hughes says to set the Intake Cold Lash at .015 & Exhaust Cold at .018. Intake hot lash at .018 and Exhaust hot lash at .020. Sounds a little loose to me. Any comments on these settings appreciated. usclstaffingnet@sprintmail.com |

You have to start somewhere and the cam maker's recommended setting is a good place to start. Get it running and "tweek it" from there. DD |
