i got in my car this morning and drove around the block ....all the sudden $#!+ got weird. my rear lug nuts have been loosened!!! expect for one. that one broke off and my tire came partly off. ![]() this comes after my entire netwerk/internet was attacked by 4 seprate ip adddys. i had to replace 2 switches, reprogramme a load balancing router and 2 cisco switchs oh and reformat my main server. anyone close by have the parts i need to get my car running again? i'm also calling wildcat to see what they want for it also. |

Dang, that really stinks. You should be able to get the wheel stud locally pretty easy. What do you know about the IP attack? Have IP addys? |

You can knock the remains of the old stud in with a big punch and hammer. I usually pull new studs in with my impact wrench, a spare lug nut, some washers and plenty of lube. If the other studs didn't get too chewed up they are probably fine. If I were still in Portland I'd say come over and we'll get it fixed up. You're still welcome to come over and the offer of help still stands, but I know just how expensive it is in time and fuel to drive out here. We should talk about the other attack. Still have my number? |

Dude! Somebody's out to get you! Wheel studs and lug nuts are still available on the general market. Find someone who stocks the Dorman brand: Stud: 610-083 Nut: 610-186 |

You don't need to pull the axle to pound the stud out. If you're already going to DI's place just put it back together and drive to his place. Take a new stud and nut with you and he'll get you fixed up with a quickness. ![]() |

I got an impact, and a place on the other side of town that has a whole wall of dormann and wheel studs/ lug nuts...You're legal to have 4 lugs on, and as long as the 4 are tight and don't loosen... this will be a quick driveway fixit... (and something to do while we let your carb brew in the tank a bit... I have a couple of BFH's and an impact (and bigger wrenches)... we'll teach them to mess with us!!!! ![]() Hope to see you soon... if you're not comfy with driving that far, you can also take it to the closest tire shop/Les Schwab/etc... and have them replace it too... -D.Idiot -D.Idiot |

So find out who it was, I'll bring over a spare block and we can take turn bludgeoning them with it. That should make them feel the same pain that they made you and your car feel. As far as the server... well, Im sure we can come up with a good idea for retribution on that later on. Bludgeon Fest!!!! |
