Ok, Ive only seen these hubcaps twice in my life. Is their presence on this particular car (1971 Dart 4 door) period correct and something that may have come on them? The only other car I have seen them on was my dads 75' Gran Fury. Never seen them anyother time, and I love the way they look on this car. Here is a picture of the hubcap. ![]() Thanks in advance to anyone who answers with some info!!!! ~The Other Rob~ |

I hadn't seen 'em before, but it looks as if they were available on the '71: ![]() I don't have a '75 FPC in front of me, but I see a similar cover available in '74. |

These were common on alot of later 70s Chrysler products, you mention the 75 GRAN Fury; that would have come with 15" tires/ my aunt had a B body '75 fury("small" Fury; B body instead of C body) that had these, but it also had 14" wheels/tires. Seen them on lots of Aspens/Volares back in the "Day"; I do not know that they made this hubcap in a 15" version; anything is possible, but I do know they made what seemed like millions in 14's. back then. |

Those hubcaps are waaay heavy. I had a set and pitched them because nobody else wanted them. (They don't look bad, I just don't care for any style hubcaps) |

Please excuse my necroposting but this is exactly what I'm trying to address. I got ahold of some of a set of hubcaps just like the above pics. I really want to put these on my 67 valiant. No amount of futzing, whacking or modifying will get these on my wheels. They simply are not made to go on my wheels. The wheels I have are made to have dog dish style hubcaps. My question is now, how many variety 14" sbp wheels are out there? I see ones like mine and rallyes all day long. Where are these elusive other kind that take roulette wheels and imperial looking caps? I like dog dish and beauty rings alright but they're a bit utilitarian for what I'm trying to do. I have the leftover hubcaps from my dart wagon on there now, boring and incorrect. I'm really trying to make a compact imperial, lowrideresque, fancy flashy ride out of a signet. I could do the 5x100 real wire wheel route but then an imagined voice of Dan would be ringing in my ears everytime I hit a bump or thought I felt a wobble. Well, that and I like staying alive and all. |

Koa, those covers won't fit the wheels on your '67 because they're probably the narrower 14" × 4½" items—too shallow at their outboard face to accept such a deep-dish wheel cover. A cover that has less dish will fit those wheels, and these covers will fit the deeper 14" × 5½" wheel. |

Thanks Dan. It's pretty obvious once you pointed it out. I do have the 4 1/2". I'll do a search to see if there are clearance issues with a wider wheel. Just in case some 14x5 1/2 cross my path for nearly free. |
[img]http://u225.torque.net/cars/SL6/parts/70_71_FPC_885.jpg I bought a '70 Super Bee back in '76. It had those big ugly wheel covers on it in the upper left of the pic. N96 383 auto console with buckets. Those wheel covers were listed on the window sticker. |

Nice covers. I had a set for the '70 Fury III I used to have. Came off a mid 70's Cordoba or something like that. Yes, they where made in 15" also. |
