Long story short... In process of working on the interior of my duster. I found an issue with the wheel well (needs a patch) so I need to take to a shop to get new steel welded in. So.. I refilled the radiator to get it running again. Well dumb me did not fill the radiator enough. So got car running, tweeked the carb, and was goin well, then i noticed the temp gauge creeping up. So i shut off. Got new t-stat,inlet housing, gasket replaced them. Started filling it up, and now there was a steady drip of ANTIFREEZE coming from the oil pan. It stopped after about 5 mins. I noticed before the oil pan gasket didnt look good. but never had antifreeze till now. Any ideas?? Have to say Im gettin real frustrated with this car.. thanks.. |

You sure the water pump didn't start leaking and run down the oil pan? |

I had a 318 that held its water until I put coolant in it. Then the water pump started leaking. Check the weep hole in the water pump. |
