If you want to do it right, pull the engine back out.
You will be happier with the results in the long run. Painting around an engine is pretty impossible.

I have the engine and transmission all in and the thing running. And after looking at the engine bay, I wish I had painted it first. I don't want to pull it all out again to paint it, so what can be done at this point? bwhitejr |

What kind of car is it? I mean is it an older car with more room or a newer one with all sorts of hell going on in the engine bay? I only ask because you might be able to just cover the engine and paint it? |
