This question goes out to all of you here in oregon. My question is does anyone know of a good bodyshop? Reason being one of the people who owned my car before me was a moron and piled cardbord boxes in the trunk to soak up water from a leak. Well as you can guess it rotted out my trunk. I also have some holes in the floor boards as well as a piss poor POS bondo job on the rear right quarter panel. I know I know I should get a different car but this is the first car that I own and it hold a certin sentimental value to it. If any one can recommend a good body shop with decent prices it would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Chris.

Yes, but the price will be up there for the work...

In Salem, if it's insurance collision work then Lovegrove is the place...they don't do other fixits...

The place that gets 'trophy' winning body work is Salem Auto Body (last time I was passing by they were doing up a Hudson Hornet...), estimator 'Josh' is a mopar guy and drives a Hang Ten Dart in not good condition... be prepared to max your credit car limit...

Sometimes what we type is far truer than what we meant to type.

This looks like one of those times.

I got an OK welder at Sears for like $200. If you start practicing on the floor and trunk, you might be pretty good at it by the time you get to the quarter panel. My car was boneyard material when I started. Now it's been elevated to S---box standards. Someday it might be a full-on credit car.
