Hi! I´ve got a quick question for you; what is the "deck" height from the valves to the gasket surfae on a 225 mec.lifter head? (1974). Planning to mill this head but I´m not sure if it has been done before. I´ll cc the chambers but still interested in how much has been removed...

Thanks,
Rob

Measure the over-all thickness of the head, uncut ones tend to be a little over 3.600 thick.
It is more important to know the cc's of the chambers.
Review this thread for more info.
