i'D LIKE TO PRODUCE (sorry caps) an artichle explaining the basic of interacino and balance between metering blocks, standard or modified, carbs main bodies, standard and modified, and tricks and tips about how to get better than TBI performance using 2 or 4 barrels. Now I'm advised a couple of guys here with carbs. Do these people think that I might get material for producing a good artichle? I'd love to get onboard this project with people like DI, Agressive Ted, SSD for tech backup as far as stockers, and other experienced carb tuners around. I don't have much time but I think that there's enough people here that aren't ready to jump over top dollar EFI conversions, or they just wanna leard how to kick some electronic controlled ass with simple carburetors. Do we have an interest here? juancaino@gmail.com please indicate your board user name |

OK, dan can set up a "bulletin board" so we can stay in touch about this thru e-mail. Dan, would you? thanks. Ted can use his vast knowledge in engineering to produce a good, clear tech paper using our crude raw material. Frank, we can work on getting pictures and add more interchange before ted and anybody who wants shape the material once we're satisfied- |

I'll try and help when I can, I'm about to convert over to my new job (got a 4 hour 'wake up call' this afternoon on all the 'fun' that goes on before I even get assigned a job as 'foreman'... I just love that paperwork!!!! anyhow, I'll try and chip in where I can, I'm pretty sure I can make some time here and there to scope some pics of the various Holley 1 barrel carbs I have, I noticed something I didn't know, I guess in the very late Holley 1945's (like late 70's early 80's) they put some nitrophyll block in the bowls to restrict the volume in the bowl and help limit float travel.... -D.Idiot |

A group on Yahoo, MSN, or Google is quick and easy to set up; and, best of all, free! |

I am into it! I have been taking pics of my antique AFB's, and BBD's for reference. One BBD I have 1/2 assed polished. I smoothed the throat. I have a '67 340 Buick AFB I want to run on my slant some day. It's the smallest I have ever seen! Injection is nice but too complicated for my taste for dependability. |
