Replacing wheel bearings, races, and seal. (65 B-Cuda). How tight should i tighten the front drum spindle nut. And do I fill the area (between) the inner and outer bearings (in the drum) with grease. Thanks for helping.

What I do is tighten them down pretty tight and roll the wheel around a couple times. Then, I back the nut off until it is loose, and tighten it until it is just over hand tight. Then I tighten it until the cotter key can be installed. Get them too tight and the bearings will burn up. I don't put any extra grease in the hub or the dust cap. Dennis
