Post subject:  Intake manifold types

I have a 64 Dart with a 225 of unknown origin in it. The intake manifold has an EGR valve on it (I think that is what it is), so I figure it is from a later model. However, there is no vacuum port in the manifold for the PCV valve, so I have to cut the carb mounting gasket to provide the vacuum. Does anyone know what combinations of PCV valve vacuum ports and EGR valve came on which year intake manifold - I'd like to get the correct one for my year, which I'm guessing has a vacuum port and does not have an EGR valve.

On my 65 engine the PCV connected to the base of the carb. Charlie

Mine is the same. THe vacuum port on the carb leads to a hole on the bottom which mates with a similar hole in the intake manifold - at least that is what I think it should do.
