I am ready to send my alum. blk. to the machine shop to have it hot tanked and decked. The worst cylinder has 011 thousands wear. The others range between 008 to 011 wear. Is it feasible to have the ridge removed and use the stock pistons with new rings and bearing. Engine will be going into a old valiant I enjoy driving mostly on week ends and tuned for economy. Personally, if I got that far, I would regret not doing more boring stuff. Unlike Frank Sinatra, I have too many regrets to mention, then again. :|

0.008 or 0.009 was officially considered the limit before an 0.010" overbore was called for...
