I did a disk brake conversion on my 72 Duster and have installed the new master cylinder and bled the brakes, but when I push on the brakes really hard the brake light keeps coming on. So I bleed them again and try it again and the brake light comes on again. What am I missing here?

When you do push the pedal hard, does it sink or do anything else abnormally?

Did you replace the distribution block when you did the swap too?

The brake warning light switch activates when there is a large enough difference in pressure between the front and rear hydraulic systems. I would have to say one side is loosing pressure. Is the master cylinder truly new or is it remanufactured? Are all three brake hoses new? Any leaks?
