No. You will need to keep the rear rocker shaft bolt from the '82 head, and use the '82 valve cover. The '69 rocker shaft will bolt right on.

You need the wide valve cover and gasket that goes with that head. Are you planning to run the solid lifters and use the adjustable rocker arms off the 69 engine? DD |

I would be getting the gaskets with the head but not the wider valve cover. ANd i'd rather adjust lifters than change to the other kind.. I want to be sure that it will bolt on and I won't run into any starnge problems like when one works on a FORD. |
