| Post subject: | Brake light keeps coming on |
I did a disk brake conversion on my 72 Duster and have installed the new master cylinder and bled the brakes, but when I push on the brakes really hard the brake light keeps coming on. So I bleed them again and try it again and the brake light comes on again. What am I missing here? bwhitejr |

When you do push the pedal hard, does it sink or do anything else abnormally? Did you replace the distribution block when you did the swap too? |

The brake warning light switch activates when there is a large enough difference in pressure between the front and rear hydraulic systems. I would have to say one side is loosing pressure. Is the master cylinder truly new or is it remanufactured? Are all three brake hoses new? Any leaks? |
