I know you guys have come across this kind of post before, but here goes:

How do you adjust the valves? My grandpa kind of knows how to do it, but not on a slant. My motor runs great and idles smooth, but with a slight "putt putt" out of the exhaust when it is idling. I heard this was do to the exhaust valves being a little out.

Do I even have to do an adjustment, or was the "putting" due to my carb?
