Is there a way to determine the lift and duration of an installed cam with out pulling the thing out of the block? I have been listening to various /6's on Utube, and my car has a lope at idle not unlike one car I found equipped with a Hyperpack in the following Utube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGxNHJqX ... re=related Unfortunately my car dose not sound as crisp, or snappy as this car on the clip, perhaps because it is equipped with duel Sonic Turbo mufflers... Or, the compression is not as high. |

You need a degree wheel and dial indicator to find cam specs. That's Greg Ondayko's car BTW. Big cam, good compression and open headers are responsible for the sounds in the video. |
