Any one have any info on this event. I never recived a flyer

The South Bay Area meet is scheduled for the end of this month and I heard the mailing just went out.
I am also short on details but I will make some phone calls to see if I can get all the info posted here.

Post subject:  Bay Area Slant/6 Show and Swap 9/28 Redwood City
The Date is Sunday September 28 at the Seaport Ct. Launch area, Redwood City. This is the same location as last year. Exit Hwy 101 at Woodside Rd/Seaport Blvd and go East toward the bay. Turn left on Seaport Ct and look for the Slant6 sign. Bring a picnic lunch, learn new tricks, make new friends, give advice. Many parts will be available or bring some along to swap. Just talked to John Moran, who is the "main man" organizer of this gala event. We should have 60-75 Slant/6 cars at this meet. This is the largest gathering of our group in the USA. Do not miss this opportunity. Bee there or bee square. Lots of swap parts. Stock and racing.

We had a great meet this weekend, about 50 SL6 cars.
Everything from original owners to hopped-up and full restoration cars.

It was good to see some old friends and hang-out with a great group of people.
I saw a bunch of parts "change hands"... I want with a trunk-load of stuff and came home with a trunk load of differnt parts :!: :roll: :shock:

Thanks to everyone who helped get my beast rolling and to the show. The alignment was a bit dicey, but it made it there under slow speeds, so all is well. I got there late, but there were still lots of cars there and its too bad more folks couldn't participate.

Damn right Menko's car is running. we cut it pretty close time wise and ran into some obstacles but we made it happen.
