our shop (west coast diesel and auto) has been doing biz with these guys since the day we opened, but this is about my experience with them.

well frist off there honest and they seem to really care about there customers. i walked in with a holley 2bbl for rebuild, turns out it was gov'd. they said that they would build me a proper one for a very good price. well the next biz day i had my custom built 2300. the quality of the carb they rebuilt was better than new and of corse blows away any re-manned pice of garbage.

it was almost bolt on and turn the key, we just set mixture and idle and i was off tearing up the hides in the front parking lot.

i told them what type of engine and car it was going on and i think they took that into account when they did there magic on my new holley.
they replyed to all my odd questions and gave me intelgent awnsers.

i will drive up from portland just to have my stuff done by joe's.

two thumbs up!

This is where I have been getting all my carb parts for the 1920 Economaster. Reference the Holley 1920 mod post. These guys have stuff that 90% of the carb shops never ever see. They really have some old stock and can rebuild just about anything. Their books are great for tracking down parts and information. Super nice guys, good prices and good work that they stand behind.

thanks for the reply Ted, yeah there the best i have seen when it comes to carbs. i have tryed in portland to get jets and parts, w/o any luck.

Joe's is top notch! my 2300 2bbl that i am running is perfect in every way. i even brought my car over to them and they gave me good advice on how to do a few things. i had another 2300 built by them this time a 500cfm and when i am ready its gonna be put on my truck. i just had some jets shipped down from them. and my manual choke cable and brackets also came from joes.

there collection of carbs is outstanding! you could walk in with the oddest item and they will know what it was and the oem applaction of the carb.

as long as they keep the doors open i will buy from them.

i might add a few other sea town slanters have chosen joes for there carbs i know from p/m's.
