Post subject:  Service manual~ which one is best ?

Hey you people who know the older Dodge trucks and service manuals for them.

I have a "want to buy" in here and if it doesn't pan out I have this option.
(See the two copy/paste's below)

Which book here would be the best?
Both cost about $50.00 USD and sound ok to me.

But...I do have questions..

Is a 64 and a 63 D200 the same?

And... if they are?..............

Maybe the 64 book would have more information than the 63 book which says that it covers all the "S" series trucks...

I don't understand the "S" series? I thought these trucks were "D" series?

My Truck is a D [ala the D200 on the grill emblem]

Any help is greatly appreciated.. I am dealing with a very thin wallet.
I need to make a wise choice and can't do that w/out your wisdom.

Thanks in advance !

Following two copy/paste's are from the e-Bay seller:
"Bishko Book's" ...........

1963 Dodge Truck "S" series:

There is no better service, repair or restoration manual for you than this. It is a NEW REPRODUCTION of the manual that was compiled by the Chrysler Corp. for its own repair personnel and will cover everything installed by the factory for the 1963 Dodge S-Series Trucks.

Lots of illustrations and diagrams help you follow the step by step instructions in the text for diagnosis, disassembly, repair, assembly and installation procedures. It also includes complete specifications and tightening references. It covers both body and chassis, including lubrication and maintenance, accessories, suspension, axle, brakes, clutch, cooling, electrical and instruments, engine, exhaust system, fuel system, prop shaft and univ joints, springs and shock absorbers, steering, transmission, wheels and tires, body, sheet metal and frame and air-conditioning. This manual is 8 1/2 x 11 with about 880 pages. If this isn't your vehicle, we have many other listings and manuals. eb6614R

"S-series" refers to the production sequence. All 1962 Chrysler Corp vehicles (cars and trucks) were S models. All 1963s were T models. All 1964s were V models.

Bishko has historically been generally reliable but rather high of price. If he is actually selling real, licenced, genuine manuals, you might as well just go to the source: http://www.moparmanuals.com .

See also this thread.

There are only minor differences between the info contained in the '63 and '64 manuals applicable to Dodge trucks such as yours.
