I know everybody here loves the Dutra duels but our header options are getting very slim. I went to summit to check prices and they don't carry headers for a 74 scamp anymore. The holley site doesn't show them anymore either. I want headers but I am a bit scared to order some form clifford as to the stories put down here. I cant find headers that are "affordable" for my build. So who's got the info? |

Be patient, watch Ebay, and buy a pair of Cliffords there. |

What is wrong with the Hooker's from Summit? I am thinking of putting them on my 74 Dart. |

I got mine through JEGS (Hooker). They didn't list them in the book but I got the part # and ordered them through them. They were supposed to fit a F body but didn't clear the booster, that was easly taken care of.I really think that they are universal for cars, you just need to know that you will have to modify them a little bit, what the heck,we're taking slant sixes and we are modifying them way beyond what they were designed for anyways.I haven't gotten anything that I didn't have to cut up or twist to make work. Most of the stuff isn't really cheap for a slant,if you want that, build a small block chevy.I LOVE MY HOOKERS. Was able to install a EVAC system and put on duals.Best thing I did was use the REMFLEX gaskets. No leaks.Like they say watch E-Bag or even try Craigs list. |
