H'mm...a photograph of five Bosch excuses for spark plugs. But it has no caption (yet). So, left to right, these spark plugs are:

Bosch Xtreme Scam +4
Bosch Scam +4
Bosch Scam +2
Bosch Scam
Bosch Garbage

Those long sticky out electrodes looks like jet engine plugs - they will cause pinging IMHO if they start glowing

They cause poor running and money leakage from the wallet area.

Wow. If they've been cutting so many corners they can't afford a copy writer who actually knows how to capitalize, imagine what corners they cut in the QC department and engineering.

Always thought bosch meant quality. Not any more. I ran a set of platinums in my "87 Toyota truck. Nothing great happened, nothing bad happened.

Those plugs are really stupid looking and someone should call them on their claims etc.

I have not noticed poor running

I put the regular plats in my car, and they don't offer any cons or better performance over the champion plugs I had, but they sure did save time in not having to gap plugs!

The regular platinums do need to be gapped, just like any other spark plug with one central and one side electrode.

Well, it I nor anyone else that has ever used these plugs have never gaped them and they run just fine. My mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and countless other people have these in their cars un-gapped and so far have not seen any change in performance or milage.

Every one I have talked to says do not gap them, you will brake the ceramic tip off and it will be useless. Not trying to start an argument, I am just talking from my current knowlage. :D

There's all kinds of babble floating around as "common knowledge".

I kinda figured that one out the hard way!

If you pry against the ceramic tip to open up the gap it will break. If you use a proper plug gaping tool, it never touches the ceramic tip, so it can't break.

My old neon really liked the bosch 4's. They smoothed out the idle with the help for the msd ignition set up I had.
