Got the slant fired up Saturday and ouch its got a banshee screaming,umm intake exhaust manifolds leaking big time Ok let her sit yesterday and jumped on it again today.I don't have another remflex just a stock gasket sooo.Lossin everthing up and shift it all around and torque it back down thinking I'd screwed the remflex horseing it.I gave it a couple extra # on the torque (remflex says 5 so I give it 8 )
Hit the key,fires right up,no banshee,no leaks,purrrin like a kitten Don't know if Remflex gaskets could be considered idiot prof but in this case it was better than this idiot I've posted before on how good these gaskets look and now they work better than they look With the clifford headers an manny there just ain't no other gasket,period.

Thats what I use on my engine. For some reason, the #3 exhaust runner is twisted or something, so I also applied a little more than the 5lbs of torque to it and now its nice and quiet. I didn't use the gasket between the two manifolds as thats sealed good. Expensive, but worth it!

I also use them on the 2.25" pipe flange joint and they work awesome!

Yep Remflex's are well worth the Dough. Do it once and do it right - No Burnouts etc.
