here is something for the 80's truck guys.if your truck is like my 82 when you got it there was no air intake system.i was in the junkyard a few months ago and all i could find was 318 parts.
318 intakes are located on the driverside,my slant intake is located on the passenger side.while walking around i spotted a mid90's v6 van and out of curiosity i took a look.hmmm.an air intake hose system running to the passenger side.guess what? the metal end clips right onto the air slot under the passenger side blinker signal the hose is a bit short so i snagged another intake hose and a smaller diameter hose that was laying near a neon.the smaller diameter hose more or less screws into the larger pieces.and using some black cable ties to hold it in place.
now i have a cold air intake system with hard plastic hose that looks good with a bit of armorall.
